Way too hard! Ecuador the land of volcano’s was a fantastic experience from climbing 5,000 metres up Mt Cotopaxi to dancing with a Blue Footed Booby on Seymour in the Galapagos Islands. Peru was too much fun to describe with Machu Picchu being truly awe inspiring. Bhutan with its stunning untouched Buddhist culture, monasteries and architecture. Takstang Palphug (Tigers Nest) is an amazing example perched precariously on the side of a mountain! Where else could you enjoy a Fertility Festival where you get tapped on the head with a giant wooden phallus?? New York City…food, Broadway, fun, skyscrapers, Times Square, Meatpacking District, Soho, New Jersey…food!

I was lucky and have travelled throughout Asia for most of my childhood. I have fond memories of Karachi and Bangkok.

Half the year in Sydney (summer of course) and half in Thailand. Feels like second home already have been there so many times.

On my bucket list are Israel and Lebanon.

1. Find out a little about the customs and culture of where you are going. Have an open mind and try not to compare the destination with home.
2. Learn to say hello and thank you in the local language…you would be amazed what a difference it can make.
3. Don’t try to do everything by travel guides…be spontaneous, it could lead to an amazing experience.
