Why travel?

I love helping people plan their trips away, they really value our travel experiences and knowledge and put a lot of trust in us. Plus we get early access to the newest and best products, so it's a job where you never stop learning and falling in love with it all over again.

What is your favourite destination?

Tufi Dive resort in Papua New Guinea is just the ultimate getaway, surrounded by beautiful tropical fiords, estuaries, local village tribes with no modern conveniences what so ever. So peaceful with stunning bird and plant life everywhere you look, being in a canoe in the middle of it all is just breathtaking.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?

Barcelona! Such a beautiful city, gorgeous people, beaches, parks and night life in countless supply and of course the food and sangria! The fact I speak Spanish and love immersing myself around that and all the cultural differences that go with it is probably a large part of why I love it so much, oh and Sitges is so close by!

Where's the next destination on your list?

Berlin, The city of the moment, time to get lost in its amazing history, while seeing the new funky place that has emerged and just let it all hang loose.

What are your top 5 travel tips?

1. Go with the flow, travel with an open mind. 2. Travel insurance, make sure you have some. 3. Plan ahead, especially if you have a big trip in a short amount of time and it may be peak period. 4. Try long trips away, 3 -6 months around the world, it is a different way to see life, short trips are cool too, but mix it up for some true life travel experience. 5. Book with a travel agent, we know a few secrets here and there.

Travel will open your eyes to cultures and people you can only experience by getting out there and seeing the world.

Why travel?

Travelling is one of my true passions in life. Exploring the world and discovering new cultures, places, and traditions is exhilarating and life-changing. Travel turns life into adventure and being in the business of helping people realise their dreams is one I've always wanted to get into.

What is your favourite destination?

Hmmn…Different places for different results! My favourite place to chill and laze around would have to be Phi Phi Island in Thailand. Favourite place(s) to party would be Key West in the Florida Keys and South Beach Miami.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?

I love Sydney, but I'd love to live in New York City for just a year or two, though I would have to work on my tolerance for cold weather…

Where's the next destination on your list?

I'm off to Bali in a couple of weeks. I've never been so I'm really looking forward to daily cocktails and massages.

What are your top 5 travel tips?

1. Research your destination 2. Meet the locals and hang out with them for a while 3. Don't plan too much. Exploring and discovering places 'by chance' is always fun 4. Get travel insurance - a lesson learnt the hard way. 5. Consult a travel agent, they know what they're talking about!

What is a must-have in your suitcase when travelling?

Easy…iPod.

reeceWhy travel?

I love challenging myself with different cultures and experiences. There are so many varied destinations in the world so my list of holidays is very long and growing!!

What is your favourite destination?

I have been very fortunate to travel to India twice in the past 8 months, and am forever amazed at this very diverse country. It is a huge country with beaches, deserts, mountains (even skiing), wet lands and fantastic cities! It also has a fascinating history, and beautiful temples, forts and palaces, plus fantastic food and luxurious hotels!! In India I have also experienced some of the friendliest people and enjoyed the best service anywhere...

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?

Tough one! My ultimate goal is to follow the sun, so I cannot narrow this down to one place.... I would love to spend part of my year in each of the following; beautiful Bali overlooking a rice field, relaxing on a Greek Island near the beach, chilling in the desert of Palm Springs, and the remainder in fabulous Sydney.

Where's the next destination on your list?

I always have a few trips planned. How can you not!! My next trip is to Vietnam for a birthday which will be my fourth trip there, and I can't wait! I must say I am finding the Middle East fascinating, so want to go to Iran and Lebanon as my next big trips!! We have had a few clients travel to Iran, and they all loved it!!

What are your top 5 travel tips?

As long as you travel with a credit card you can pretty much get anything you need whilst travelling, so I am never too stressed about taking everything!! I definitely pack Nurafen, my iPod with both my chilled music to fall asleep to on flights and also my upbeat gym tracks, a good trashy novel to read by the pool (and there will always be a pool), and my sense of humour and adventure!! Travelling is an amazing experience and you just have to remember this!!

What is a must-have in your suitcase when travelling?

Plenty of socks as I hate washing them in the basin, and they always turn out a bit stiff afterwards!!

reeceWhy travel?

I’ve always wanted to find out what’s around the next corner or over the next hill, whether in the city I live or on the other side of the world. You never know what you’re going to find and I love the sense of excitement that I get when discovering something new for the first time.

What is your favourite destination?

Antarctica – the coldest, driest, highest & windiest continent on Earth! Just getting there is an expedition in itself, flying first to Buenos Aires and then on to Ushuaia in Tierra del Fuego to board the ship for the voyage across Drake Passage - it feels like going on a real adventure. The truly spectacular landscape, unique wildlife, fascinating history of the explorers and on-going scientific research combine for an awe-inspiring destination and an unforgettable journey.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?

It would have to be somewhere by the sea – my Dad was in the Navy and I grew up in an English seaside town, so I love living in Sydney with the beautiful harbour, fabulous beaches & great weather to enjoy it. I think that of all the places I have been, I would choose to live on the Mediterranean Coast in the South of France. It has the sea & sun as well as the best food & wine, with the added bonus that you can get to almost everywhere else in Europe in just a couple of hours.

Where's the next destination on your list?

I spent a couple of days in Argentina on the way to Antarctica, and I would love to go back to explore more of South America. My dream itinerary would include trekking in Patagonia, walking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, seeing the Iguazu Falls and then recovering from all that hard work with a cocktail on the beach in Rio de Janeiro!

What are your top 5 travel tips?

1. Give yourself plenty of time & don't rush – it's better to have some time on your hands than to be stressed about missing a connection. 2. If going overseas, try to learn at least a few words in the local language as it really helps break the ice. 3. Carry some cash in smaller notes, you never know when you might need to jump in a taxi – also great if you just want to grab a coffee. 4. Travel light – unless you're going on a cruise! 5. Pack your sense of humour and don't worry if something doesn't go to plan – it sounds corny but you will probably look back and laugh about it later.

What is a must-have in your suitcase when travelling?

My Swiss Army knife – I have had the same one for over 15 years and it goes everywhere with me! From opening bottles of wine in Italy to fixing broken sunglasses in Hawaii it has been indispensable, and I would never leave home without it.
